iProCon QM – Our current report
Dear customers!

Every first Thursday of the month we are not as easily available for your phone calls as you may be used to. 12 times a year all of our 11 consultants meet in Mr. Lübke’s office. We are excited to see the whole team again and to have a good cup of coffee. However, the main purpose of these meetings is to create the best solutions for your problems. We exchange knowledge and rack our brains, if a though nut needs to be cracked.

WDF05 is a thing of the past
Less and less often we visit the SAP training center in Walldorf. This doesn’t mean that there is nothing new for us to learn. Far from it! The standard training sessions don’t help us further for the most requirements though. We rather look for special experts and invite them to us, e.g. to learn the best tricks developing Web Dynpros.

Good contacts are the future
We work on and foster our relationships with SAP. Sometimes the direct contact to a developer or solution manager is worth their weight in Gold, especially when implementing a new module in SAP. On the SAP Partner Test in January 2010 we tested the enhancements in the Travel Management and Shared Service Center solutions – and made useful contacts. In addition we regularly attend the Partner Info Days and learn what’s coming up. Of course, we pass on the important news to you, too.

Further education
We practise further education on the project. Sorry, on your projects. We openly communicate when a Junior Consultant joins the project but doesn’t cost you a thing. For us it is the most effective method educating new employees. An example: Over the last 6 months, our latest addition to the team spent 80 days learning in different projects, where she was still delivering some value to clients, who were not charged for this. That’s an expensive education, but it obviously paid off for all other team members in the past. Further 50 days of on-project education in 2009 are allocated to the rest of our 10 consultants.

We in Down Under
No, unfortunately we have not (yet) made a company outing to Australia. Nothing less then our most precious resource we have stored there savely. We access it every day more than 100 times. It‘s constantly growing and we daily feed it with new knowledge. Knowledge, which we sometimes gathered with an effort and which can now be accessed by all of our consultants. In a few days it has to be moved to a bigger server for the 2nd time: our knowledge base hosted on the Enterprise Wiki of Atlassian.
